Couple noob questions

I have a Purphoros, God of the Forge and a Altar of the Brood both out on the battlefield and I cast a Hordeling Outburst. How do the triggers work? Does Altar of the Brood force my opponent to discard 1 card or 3? Does Purphoros, God of the Forge deal 2 damage or 6 to my opponent?
That's what I assumed but sometimes wording can get tricky. Thanks Greatsword

Altar of the Brood does not cause a player to discard (a card from the hand to the graveyard). Instead it puts the top card of a player's library into their graveyard (aka "mill" after Millstone).
A triggered ability triggers whenever its condition is met. In both cases, the condition is met 3 times, so it will trigger 3 times. Your opponent will take 2 damage 3 times and mill 1 card 3 times.
