Counters on creatures

Asked by NirTheCatGuy 7 years ago

If a counter is placed on creature does his power is now bigger? or his power is the same and he just deals more damage? Thanks!

Counters, in general, do not increase a creature's power, toughness, or damage inherently. "+1/+1 counters" such as those distributed by cards such as Battlegrowth, give the creature +1/+1, meaning both its power and its toughness are increased by one.

But what Imean is that if card like Ghoulcaller Gisa will target my Alpha Tyrranax, and i've managed to put a +1/+1 counter on it, will i get 6 or 7 zombies?

In that instance you would get 7 Zombie tokens, as your Alpha Tyrranax would be a 7/6.
