color of Archangel Avacyn.

what color is Archangel Avacyn Flip officially? cause she is white at start but transforms into red. is she both red/white or just white? I ask this cause if she were to be a commander in an EDH deck what color would the deck have to be?

ticked-off-squirrel Archangel Avacyn s R/W, so you can create a Boros deck with her as the commander or with some other creature as your commander.

To clarify:
Archangel Avacyn Flip is white.
Avacyn, the Purifier Flip is red.
These are what matters in gameplay. You can't target Avacyn, the Purifier Flip with Execute, for instance.
The card's color identity is red/white, which is what matters for EDH deck construction. Archangel Avacyn Flip is a Boros commander, and can go in any Red/White/X deck.

Color identity is what counts for EDH - the mana symbols in the top right plus any in the text of the card not in reminder text and crucially, color indicators (that little dot in the type line) - Archangel Avacyn Flip is red/white, while Evermind is blue.
