changeling question

Could I reanimate Nameless Inversion (a noncreature zombie spell) with a zombie-specific reanimation spell like Patriarch's Bidding or Zombie Apocalypse? Thanks in advance for answering

No you cannot. Reanimation cards all specifically say "creature" cards on them to avoid situations like this. A noncreature spell with a creature type does not fit the description Patriarch's Bidding or Zombie Apocalypse have, which is for a creature card of the right creature type.

Many old cards have received errata to specify [creature type] creature card or [creature type] permanent card (though the two you mentioned were fine as printed). If somehow one of these cards did not receive errata though, the answer would still be no. If an instant or sorcery would be put onto the battlefield from any zone, it instead remains in the zone it's in.

You would need a spell that returns a specific creature type CARD. Such as return target zombie card in a graveyard to your hand.
