can you kill a creature i response to preventing its' entering abilities to occur?

If you were to Lightning Strike Sidisi, Brood Tyrant in response, will its' ability still trigger or no since it hasn't been resolved yet?

When the conditions for a triggered ability are met, they will be placed on the stack regardless of what you do.

Sidisi, Brood Tyrant has two triggered abilities. The first ability, which requires her to enter the battlefield, will be placed on the stack once she enters the battlefield. If you allow her to resolve, you can't stop that.

However, you can still Lightning Strike her with that trigger on the stack to remove her from the battlefield before her first ability resolves. This will prevent her second ability from triggering in the event that her first ability mills a creature card.

tl;dr The first ability will trigger, you can kill her to stop the second ability from triggering.

In order for you to be able to target Sidisi, Brood Tyrant with Lightning Strike, Sidisi, Brood Tyrant must have entered the battlefield. Therefore, its first ability will have triggered and been placed onto the stack before any player gets priority again (triggered abilities are placed onto the stack before players can respond).

At that point, you may respond with Lightning Strike, but the ability will already be on the stack. Once on the stack, abilities exist independently of their sources. Destroying or otherwise removing the source of an ability will not prevent the ability from resolving.

As Jimhawk said, you can still prevent Sidisi, Brood Tyrant's second ability from triggering by destroying Sidisi, Brood Tyrant before a trigger event for the second ability could occur, but that's all you can do. You can't stop the ETB ability with a removal spell.
