can slum reaper's triggered ability target itself?

Slum Reaper for reference.i assumed the triggered ability resolved after the slum reaper was on the battlefield, meaning it could target itself, but i'm not 100%. please clarify

First, Slum Reaper 's ability doesn't target. Each player chooses a creature they control to sacrifice; since it does not use the word "target", it does not target anything.

Second, yes, you can sacrifice Slum Reaper to itself. If you couldn't, it would specify "each player sacrifices a creature other than Slum Reaper." Since it has to enter the battlefield for its ability to trigger, it is on the battlefield to be sacrificed as the trigger resolves (unless somebody responded to the trigger to kill the Reaper).
