Can shrouded creatures target themselves?

for example, if a Battle-Rattle Shaman is equipped with Lightning Greaves , can he target himself?

No. Shroud doesn't have any exceptions. If it says "target," it won't work.

Nope. He can't be targeted, any spell or ability that says "target" cannot choose a permanent with shroud.
