Can oppobent divide Tromokratis damage among creatures?

When Tromokratis attacks and all opponents creatures has to block, can the 8 damage be devided among the blocking creatures or do they all have to take 8 damage?
When they assign blockers, you will place the blocking creatures in a "damage assignment order" then, during the damage assignment stage, you must assign lethal damage to the first creature in the damage assignment order before you can deal any damage to creatures further down the list.
So if they blocked with a 2/2, 3/3, 1/1, and 5/5, you could order them how you wanted. If you put the damage assignment order as 5/5, 2/2, 1/1, 3/3 you would have to deal 5 of your 8 damage to the 5/5 before you could deal any to the 2/2, another 2 damage to the 2/2 before you could deal damage to the 1/1 and so on.
You are only dealing 8 damage total, because Tromokratis ' power is 8.

The damage from a creature may be divided among the creatures blocking it barring any restrictions. You can divide up the 8 damage from Tromokratis among those blocking creatures. They don't all take 8.
