Can I use Land Grant to get a Snow-Covered Forest?

Land Grant says that it search for a forest. But do they mean Forest or a land with the Forest type?
Also, whenever a spell or ability has you search out a specifically named card (like with Bogbrew Witch does), it uses the wording "search [zone] for a card named [card name]". If it doesn't use that wording, then it's referring to a quality of the card you're searching for.

Land Grant makes you to search for any card with the Forest subtype, be it Forest , Snow-Covered Forest , Temple Garden , etc.
Just so you also know, some cards, like Bant Panorama limit your search to a “basic forest” - Snow-Covered Forest has the basic supertype, so you will be able to fetch it with cards seeking a “basic forest” as well.
