can I trigger ability of demigod of wrath from graveyard?

for example when I discard 3x Demigod of Revenge by Buried alive and I have threshold can I play Stitch Together and put one Demigod of Revenge into battlefield with the triggered ability? Or I must him play from hand as a spell to trigger ability? Thx a lot

Putting a card on the battlefield using a spell like Stitch Together does not count as "casting" that card. "Casting" refers only to paying the casting cost of a spell to place it on the stack (almost always from your hand, although there are exceptions, like things with suspend and Yawgmoth's Will, etc.)

Therefore, you must cast Demigod from your hand (or with one of the weird exceptions - look for the word "cast") to trigger his ability. Necromancy effects do not work.

Also look for the word "play" on older cards - it means the same thing as "cast."
