Can I cast the exiled card from Outpost Siege even if the enchantment is no longer on the battlefield?

Asked by Balzac 9 years ago

Considering the following exemple:

  1. I have Outpost Siege on the battlefield choosing Khans.
  2. My turn starts. At my upkeep I exile one card as said on Outpost Siege's Khans ability. The card is a sorcery or a creature, and I can only play it on my main phase.
  3. My opponent exiles my enchantment using Erase before my main phase starts.

Question is:

Can I still cast the exiled card until end of turn? Or the card remains exiled because Outpost Siege is no longer in the game?

You may still play it because the triggered ability defines a duration during which you may play the card. If the ability were instead one triggered ability that exiled the cars and one static ability that allowed you to play the card, then the enchantment would need to remain on the battlefield.
