Bronzehide Lion Does the return effect count as casting?

When BL dies and returns to the field, does its return effect count as, "casting" if I were trying to trigger an ability such as Kor Spiritdancer ?

No, Bronzehide Lion is returned to the battlefield by the resolution of a triggered ability. You never cast it. As such it will not trigger abilities that look for it being cast, and you can return it to the battlefield when you would not be able to cast spells.

No, it doesn't count as casting. It's just being put directly onto the battlefield.

To cast a spell specifically means to go through the normal casting process: move it from wherever it is (usually your hand) to the stack, make all the necessary decisions for modes, targets, etc., and pay the costs. If an effect just tells you to put something onto the battlefield and doesn't actually use the word "cast"/"play" then you're not casting anything ("play" is used for effects that can allow you to either play a land or cast a spell, like Golos, Tireless Pilgrim).
