Brago and Board Wipes

Asked by Rhinowarrior 9 years ago

So I want to run a Brago, King Eternal edh deck and I am taking the control route. If i hit an opponent with Brago and then proceed to blink my creatures, could I play a Supreme Verdict while my creatures are in the midst of being exiled and then have my creatures return to the battlefield after that board wipe has resolved? Thanks guys.

No, this doesn't work. Brago's ability doesn't return the creatures at a later time, like Otherworldly Journey or Venser, the Sojourner . It returns them during the resolution of the ability itself, like Cloudshift . You can't make a play in the middle of another spell/ability resolving, and you'd be hard pressed to respond to anything with Supreme Verdict anyway, considering it's a Sorcery.
