Brago and Animate Dead

Asked by TheMagi 9 years ago

When Brago, King Eternal's ability triggers, do all cards I'm exiling get exiled at the same time, they also re-enter the battlefield at the same time?

I'm running an esper flicker deck and Brago along with Animate Dead would be new additions to it. Animate dead however requires that I sacrifice the creature if it leaves play, but if a creature leaves play aura's are destroyed. So how would this play out if I want Animate Dead to revive cards from my graveyard over and over?

All of the permanents exiled with Brago, King Eternal leave the battlefield and re-enter at the same time.

Animate Dead's sacrifice ability would still go on the stack. But because the permanent it was enchanting is no longer on the battlefield (when something exits and re-enters it is a new object even if it is represented by the same physical card) it does nothing.

In general, if an effect states that multiple objects change zones, but it doesn't specify or imply an order in which those zone changes occur, then those objects change zones simultaneously.
