Bosium Strip and Rebound

Asked by TheMagi 6 years ago

If I cast a card using Bosium Strip that has rebound, will it rebound on the next upkeep? (yes this is for taigam)

Nevermind rebound says cast from hand

I was just gonna say that a card with Rebound exiles upon casting, and the Bosium Strip checks the graveyard, where the spell will not be, so it will not be a valid target for the Strip. But, I do have to admit, had never seen that card before, and I like it, so thank you.

Bosium Strip doesn't 'target" at all. it just allows you to cast the top card of your graveyard. Importantly, the card doesn't need to be there when you activate it and you can cast as many as you like.

For example, you have a spell rebound from exile, when it does cast, it resolves and goes to the GY. You can use Bosium strip to play it (you wont get the free rebound as you saw). THEN, whatever the NEXT card is.... if its an instant or sorcery... you can cast it too... then the next. So if you only have 5 cards in your GY and they're all instants/sorceries, you can cast them all, even if you activated bosium strip before any cards were in there.
