Asked by Shimatzu 6 years ago

In advance sorry for missing Links as i dont remember how you make them work or where to look it up.So my question is if you use Bludgeon Brawl on a Planeswalker that is a artifact for whatever reason and equipt it to a creature or when it becomes a creature with March of the Machines can it still be targetet for an atack?

Yes, it can be attacked. It still has the Planeswalker card type, so it still has to follow all the rules related to being a Planeswalker.

Bludgeon Brawl just adds the Equipment subtype to an object, so that means the object will keep any other card types it already had. March of the Machines is subject to a special game rule that says effects that make objects become "artifact creatures" will let them keep their other card types.

thanks, so if i make an planeswalker into a creature and have Rune-Tail, Kitsune Ascendant. If my planeswalker is atacked i can technically block with him and he wont be damaed at all if i am correct, otherwise when i block with an planeswalkercreature it would stil be damaged and lose counters.

If you have Rune-Tail's Essence you will prevent all damage that would be dealt to Planeswalker Creatures you control, regardless of whether that's combat damage from it attacking or blocking, combat damage from an unblocked attack directed at it, or noncombat damage from any source, even damage targeted at you being redirected to the Planeswalker.

If a Planeswalker Creature ever has 0 loyalty or 0 or less toughness it will be put into the graveyard as a statebased action. If you aren't preventing damage to them there are some interesting things. Any damage dealt to it removes that many loyalty counters AND marks that much damage on it (if that damage exceeds it's toughness it will be destroyed). If your opponent attacks, the Planeswalker can block a creatures attacking it OR a creature attacking you. It will only deal combat damage to creature(s) it blocks, not to unblocked creatures that are attacking it, but will take damage from both.

Thank you for your help, that pretty much concludes my question.

One more thing. If i use Ajani Steadfast emblem does it get 1 damage as creature and 1 as planeswalker or only 1 in total?

It's only 1 damage total, but it will still have two results since it's both a creature and a planeswalker: 1 damage is marked against its toughness until the end of the turn and 1 loyalty counter is removed.
