Athreos and Rayami

Just wondering If Athreos, God of Passage would work if a Rayami, First of the Fallen is on the battlefield?

Athreos, God of Passage will not trigger if Rayami, First of the Fallen is out.

Rayami's first ability is a replacement effect. It replaces any would be death events with that creature being exiled with a Blood counter on it. So, nothing actually dies which means Athreos won't trigger. This is similar to how Rest in Peace and Leyline of the Void work.
