Assault Suit and player control

If an opponent is using Assault Suit, and the creature he is sending around the board comes under my control, is the Assault Suit under my control as well? Can I re-equip the Assault Suit to another creature that I control? I know the Assault Suit makes the creature change control every upkeep, but does that in turn also make the Assault Suit change control as well?

The Assault Suit won't change controllers, even when control of the creature changes. Only it's controller may re-equip the equipment using it's Equip ability.
