Are the Kird Ape from 3rd edition legal in modern??

Well i wanted to get some Kird Ape for a modern deck i am building, and i the artwork from 3rd edition a lot more than ninth. So i was wondering if i bought the 3rd edition apes, could i put them in my deck legally??

Yes. Any printing of a legal card is legal.

Yes. You can use any printing of a card as long as the card is legal in that format. For example, you can use a Revised Ornithopter in Standard today since it was printed in M15.
