A question about Prowl mechanic.

If I have Frogtosser Banneret on the field and I successfully attack with him and I have a Stinkdrinker Bandit in my hand to trigger his Prowl ability would he still cost 2 to play or would the Frogtosser only make him cost one black? Thanks.

you're still casting it with the prowl cost, so it reduces it by .

Note that prowl isn't a triggered ability. It's an alternate casting cost.
