Okay so here's the deal. My friend PresidentPeaches has an expedition Polluted Delta and is looking to trade it for some decks he has listed up on here, minus basics of course. The decks in question are Benny Thoroughly Enjoys Rat Tokens and The Warren Jamboree. He's asked me to handle the details of the trade and to make sure things run smoothly. He'd like to trade it for roughly $170-$180 in cards, so around $30 in other cards would have to be added in addition to the decks.

If anyone's interested please leave a comment below and we can work something out

Thanks for handling this for me. Much to busy to sit and check the sight often. I trust you to handle this well. thanks my dude.

Are you trying to get every card from these decks at one time? I have a bunch of these cards but not all of them?

It's all or nothing, we're not accepting partial trades. That way it can be as simple as checking out on tcgplayer and sending all of them at once

Good luck with that. It's very unlikely someone will have an entire deck to trade to you.

Sounds like you should simply check out on TCG Player. The chances of someone on the site having exactly those cards is slim. If you're so specific why not sell the Delta to a shop and then buy online?

None of the shops around here will buy expedition lands, they flat out refuse. What we figured is someone else might be inclined to purchase whatever they were missing and trade the decks. That's why we're not looking to get the full value out of it since there'd likely be some extra legwork to get everything together.

I HIGHLY doubt that anyone has exactly those cards and is willing to trade them all away. And if they were, I doubt they would be as willing to negotiate on prices as much than if you were to find people willing to trade for the pieces of your deck.

My advice, give up on trying to complete this trade with one person, trade the Polluted Delta and whatever else you don't need for the higher price needs in the decks, then just grab the rest from TCG like alulien suggested.

So let me get this straight. You want to trade your Expo Delta for 2 decks and $30 of filler.

Are you insane? Anyone that would be willing to do this would just go buy the Delta online because the chances of someone having those decks put together and willing to trade them for your card is literally almost 0%.

You could sell the Expo on eBay...

Or buylist it to StarCity....at $175

It was just an idea he had, DrFunk27. No need to be so rude about it. I'll certainly see if he wants to try selling it online though.

acbooster Not rude, just being honest. Honestly, as I said, sell it to SCG for $175 and buy the cards you need. eBay also works fairly well, but I didn't check the prices on there.

Oh holy hell yeah I just noticed it was an expeditions delta, I'm stupid, I thought you meant just like Khans fetch. Yeah, DrFunk27 has the right idea, sell it then just use the money from it to fund your deck. Honestly in your best interest.

It's not that bad of a deal if someone has a lot of the random stuff. I know I have a good share of this stuff. Not as much of a crapshoot as some of you are making it out to be.

However, selling the Delta on Ebay for $200 and buying the the decks from TCG for $150 or so is infinitely easier for everyone.

ducttapedeckbox Yes, but do you have it all, are you willing to part with it, and are you willing to buy what you don't have to trade it for the Delta? I'm just saying it's too much legwork for not enough profit. Sure, if he was offering it for $180 it would be a deal, but not at the full price.

DrFunk27 He did state he was wanting to trade it for $180, or even as low as $170, specifically because there would be some legwork involved... so there's that. That being said...I'd still be amazed (and impressed) if someone were to put this all together. Because in the end, unless you have the exact decks just sitting there already, its better for everyone if the Delta was just sold online and then the capital was used to buy the deck off of tcg.

IcyLightning No, he said you would have to add in $30 of filler...read the entire post.

"He'd like to trade it for roughly $170-$180 in cards, so around $30 in other cards would have to be added in addition to the decks."

Well yeah... the tcg price of the two deck is approximately $160... that plus $30 in filler would be $190... so $10 off from what you said was a good deal. I still don't think it would really be a good trade, I'm with you, but he did state that $170-$180 was the intended price because "That's why we're not looking to get the full value out of it since there'd likely be some extra legwork to get everything together."

I can definitely understand where he's coming from, but I, like you seem to, feel as though the approach is a little backwards. Especially since you could sell it on Star City for the same price and just skip the middleman

IcyLightning To each his own. I'm not saying he is wrong, but I'm being honest that the chances this happens are slim to none. Maybe someone will do it, but it sounds like a lot more work than needs to happen when essentially you're just getting a Expo Delta at market price while giving up 150+ various cards.
