I am new to this website and my mother is worried that I am going to mail valuable cards and not get anything back can I please get the names of some users that can be vouched for and some that are not reliable at all/ to stay away from.

I am reliable :D

From my tradings, I personally know that rckclimber777, Miasma, mrcannon, bman5604, nibbles272, KorApprentice, C4rnif3X, Syinide, RiotMaker, Balthasar, and icekillaxx are good traders. I also see Epochalyptik and quite a few other people regularly trading that seem trustworthy based on the sheer amount of trading they do, but I can't personally vouch for them.

In general, if you go to somebody's trade binder and they have quite a few trade vouches, they will be good to trade with. I've yet to be scammed, but if you ever get an uneasy feeling about the other person, do not trade. Only trade with whom you place your trust.

Also, it is generally better not to post your commons/uncommons unless they are legitimately played and wanted cards, as most people will not have the patience to look through everything you have.

Generally it's the active people on the website that are easily trusted. The ones that aren't active, i'd suggest asking them to send their cards first and then you wait until you receive your cards to send yours. I haven't been scammed yet because i'm super paranoid about being scammed.

thanks guys btw metalmagic: you and balthasar are on my suggested list for trading. I have a bunch of Lorwyn stuff posted right now but still check me out cause I could really use Chandra the Firebrand in my Goblin Burn deck or Garruk Relentless and Reaper from the Abyss in my My Inner Demons deck also if you have Oona or Tezzeret Agent of Bolas could use those in some prototype decks I'm working on

I can personally vouche for TheGreatSeamus and i should be getting some cards in the mail today that should make it possible for me to vouch for a few others. i also vouch for myself if you want to take a look at my stuff.

There is a danger in trading online, however, this site has made it helpful by allowing us to vouch for others. If the person you're trading with doesn't have anyone that has vouched for them, proceed with caution. Also check to see how long they've been on the site. A week or a month can be a bit suspicious.
