All complaints will be taken extremely seriously
How did u figure the price for avacyn either both are extremely high

German Foil Iona is about $290. $250 is probably a better asking price.
July 3, 2015 5:44 p.m.
it will also be hard to shift them when FTV angels is out in a month and any of the above may see a print, I know not in German ofc, but still. Foreign Foils might be better sold on Ebay or on MTGSalvation where the audience would be bigger. If not for FTV coming soon I would buy that Linvala though, thats a good price. Good luck mate

Guys, what's with the harassment? Seriously, vishnarg, DrFunk27. If you don't like the price for something, just move on. Pointing and laughing doesn't help anyone.

One person brought up the problem. Make an offer or move on

Yeah, seriously, if the price is too high (and it is), it's okay to point it out in a friendly way to help the person out but not being a dick to them....

Summoning Epochalyptik since i wasn't clear enough apparently

I don't understand why this is such a big deal. This is not harassment, it was a simple comment on the ridiculousness of these asking prices. The reason I say this is, I've seen this same user post the same thread with the same asking prices a dozen times over the last few months, and by simply offering the advice to lower his prices, I don't believe I've harmed anyone. Everybody stop getting so offended by this crap, please.

vishnarg: The issue is when you make fun of someone in such a manner you detract from their legitimacy as a seller, whether or not your comments are on point.
If I click a thread, and the first few comments are blasting the OP about the price, It's going to turn me off the offer- whether or not the price is good or not.

lol This thread. Let me edit my post.
"Sir,
I wish you best wishes in moving those cards at the above mentioned prices. I believe they may be a bit high. Perchance you could bring them 10% below TCG low in order to move them more easily. I'm sure they are beautiful cards, and I personally love foils. Would you mind linking pictures of the cards in order that we may see their condition? Thank you."

I dunno, man- If I can have a foil Japanese Iona, Shield of Emeria for $150.... I dunno about $300 for a German one. Idk though; maybe German foils are more expensive?

Magiccardmarket is a European site and thus doesn't take into account how difficult it is to acquire certain languages of cards in the us.
July 4, 2015 12:17 p.m.
it's not that hard. Holla at anyone like myself, sort a trade, or a barter, or a purchase through us. Crack on. I believe Chiefbell has done this before too? Or another well known user who's name I forget if not Chiefbell

Except that they can (and do) jack up the price as much as they want. Proof is in my earlier link. Certain languages are very expensive to the general public in the states.
But hey. Way to go guys. This trade post has officially become an economics debate. Great job derailing
July 4, 2015 3:57 p.m.
Yeah, way to go VampireArmy. I believe you were the first one to begin the butthurt in this thread after a few painfully true comments were said, thus leading to the "debate". But yeah, great job.

Reading comp - 0%
Nope. I attempted to steer us back. The man with the "butthurt" was slovakattack who asked why certain individuals felt the need to interject useless complaints ad nauseum about OP's pricing. I however provided reasoning behind why Ops pricing Is not* off in terms of living here in the states as I've seen this shit countless times.

Foreign language foils in the U.S are worth way more money then they are in EU. We cant just go anywhere or go on TCG or whatever and buy em everyday.
magiccardmarket.com thats an EU site, that doesnt ship to the U.S, if you know em well enough or magically know someone who works there, I am sure you can find a way to get em to ship to the U.S. I have tried, and they wont just ship to any random U.S person probably because they know the difference in the market, and they would lose profit.
Blows my mind how single minded some of you are, ok some of you dont agree with my price congrats man, I dont really care, FACT is I have looked at other sites, talked to people, for months I have been posting these, or asking for opinions from people who know there prices, Epochalyptik is one of the people I asked, and he gave me a very good idea of what I should sell em for considering you know, Iona, Shield of Emeria doesnt really exist in the U.S. In the U.S german foils arent easy to come, foreign language foils in general are not easy to come by especially the ones from older sets. For any U.S people telling me my prices are "shit" so how many of you go to grandprix? If you did and actually looked around youd know vendors usually sell there foreign language foils from EDH & Modern for pretty insane prices simply over the fact, we cant go to a card shop or go on the internet to sites such as TCG, Ebay, or whatever, and just get up buy us some $99 german foils, cause they dont exist here really at all. So good for all the butthurt people who dont like my prices, I dont really care, I will just go to a grandprix and sell em, and send you pictures of the cash :D @ all the EU players who cry about my prices. Grow a brain, buy some German foils, Russian foils for YOUR MARKET PRICES, slap em on ebay for about triple what you paid, profit hard, god knows how many people already do that. So let me know where I can find German Foil cards in the U.S for the exact same price as the EU Market, so I can make a serious investment and profit extremely hard. Check other sites that sell MTG cards other then TCG in the U.S youll easily see the difference in price, and yes they sell.

Since my post became a debate on prices,
Theres 2 Modern friendly cards right here IN THE U.S AT U.S prices, as someone previously said, probably a better bet to sell em on ebay or TCG or whatever, considering more people go there to buy em foreigns. Ya I only linked cards from ebay, thats the easiest place to find foreign foils. -_-

Foil German LoV playset signed
MORE! I would link a german foil Iona, Shield of Emeria and Avacyn, Angel of Hope but uh. Here in the states they arent as easy to come by, especially at your EU market prices.

How did you determine $300 for Iona was appropriate?
