Zulaport Cutthroat illegal in Commander?

Zulaport Cutthroat displays as illegal in Commander. I wonder why this is. Is it also the case with the other cards in the new set?

I'm having the same problem with Smothering Abomination, which had no legality issues when I first added it. I think legality is a bit of a mess with users trying to fix card entries after the set release on top of the "Not Legal in any format" bug some cards are currently suffering from.

This almost exact same post has been made every single day for years...

Well isn't it about time to fix the issue then don't you think?

Yeah, this question gets asked every new set for a few weeks...

T/O is NOT the official source on card legality, always check Gatherer.

The cards on this site are submitted by users and it takes a little while to update all of the cards of a new set. This may not be an ideal process, but that's how it works for now. The users submitting cards/card fixes do this completely voluntarily, so please don't rush them.

For new sets, it's best to assume that a card is legal in all formats. If you're unsure, check Gatherer (link above) or the Commander Banlist.

Yeago usually has an automatic legality script running, however I don't think it is working. At the moment, I'm trying to finish moving to a new house so I cannot complete the database right now. Currently, all the cards in BFZ are legal in every format, barring format restrictions for Pauper and Tiny Leaders.

Alright I didn't know the system works that way. Mad props to the people submitting the cards and making scripts. Sorry for criticizing :3

Zulaport Cutthroat pushed the already broken Blood Artist to a whole new level, thus meriting a ban

Blood Artist isn't broken. At all. What decks are they broken in?

And Zulaport Cutthroat is even worse. It's ability only triggers when your creatures die.... They will never be banned.

Blood Artist combos really well with Storm Crow, which forces your opponent to either take 1 damage from the crow or block it and lose 1 life if the crow dies, making it a practically unstoppable damage machine.

Let's not take Storm Crow into this discussion. Everyone knows it combos with practically everything.
