Glad I got your attention. But its true, isn't it? Searching on TappedOut SUCKS! OR WAIT... does it still?
...Nope. Maybe its a little bad, but I have made some changes to how searching works on TappedOut that I think we can all agree is a HUGE improvement. Perfect? Not yet. =)
For those who like the nitty gritty stuff, I left the advanced search. If you have any questions or notice any weirdness, as always, please let me know.
i thought searching always worked fine. Maybe i'm not picky enough.

Well okay you see the bar that the "Why does searching here SUCK?" is in? yeah that's floating there just under the nav bar and im curious as to why it's there if it's not inhabited by anything.

I was about to go off on some kid due to your basically non-existent staff (you and a couple friends) still managing to continuously improve this site. I was that much more pleased when this turned out to be an improvement announcement.

Why can't we search for decks by card in deck any more?. It's a really good search option.

mono -- I do like that option and I plan on re-integrating it. I did always wonder though why people don't just visit the card page. But maybe they plan on searching for more than one card.
Anyway, don't worry its coming (BACK) soon. =)

We need a filter, search cards/decks/posts/etc. and a search all option of course.

I like the suggestion put forth by omgyoav Let us choose to search cards, or decks, or posts etc. This is a good idea imo. Actually... i usually only run into this problem when searching for a card... and getting other odd results. Eh any way might be worth considering.
PS. i too was wondering why there was an it sucks post... was pretty funny when it was a feature update.

I'm tired of the impersonal, machine-run search engines. I want to see a human face again. I want to be asked how my day was. I don't mind waiting 15 minutes in the front lobby, listening to opening and closing drawers and flipping through files.
Why don't we just email you what we are looking for and you can send us back some results after thumbing through your own magic the gathering card collection?
I would like that.
