Where Did My Notifications Go?

Ok so I was really fond of that notification system when someone comments on your deck, wall, etc etc but recently it hasn't been working for me.
Anyone else having the same problem? The only reason I noticed this is because I've been getting comments on my deck without getting a notification.
It truly saddens me when I don't get a notifications for things, especially because I love the idea so much.
Also are you expanding anymore on it? Like notifications when someone comments on your binder, +1, or other things that are informative.
Thanks for any info even if it is just me being dumb or something that's causing it.

go to all of your decks and click on the 'Subscribe' button.
Make sure your settings are set to 'Auto-subscribe to things I comment on'
When you create decks, you should be auto-subscribed.
