What types of articles would you like to see?

TappedOut forum

Beginning next week, I'll be creating written content for the site three times per week. I'd like to know what I could be writing about to keep you engaged and coming back to read each time.

Which formats? Deck-techs? User features? Strategy? Deck-building? Tournament etiquette? Economics?

Anything you can think of.

More Pauper coverage!

I have been trying it out myself, but I have had little time to actually finish what I started...

I would love to see some articles written up about viable Modern brews. However, I'll read anything you post so really whatever you want to do works.

Anything not Modern lol, I think we have a lack of legacy articles. I personally like deck techs or strategy because I suck at figuring that out myself

  1. When it comes to commander, I'd like to see articles about new ideas, builds, expectations, challenges, or spin-off formats.

  2. When it comes to modern/standard, I'd like to see articles about home brews that could become tier one.

  3. Anything related to momir basic. And possibly Jhoira basic. How I would love Jhoira basic!

How to sideboard for dummies.

MTG Etiquette (Professional/Semi, observing, etc)

Trading tips, and again, etiquette. In person, online or both maybe.

Something about 'Understanding the Meta Game' maybe? (Maybe too broad a subject, broken down to formats?)

There's some ideas for ya.

Oh definitely side boarding! I need that in my life.

I'd like to see some Legacy content too, although I intend on making at least 1 article on the format at some point, however it will be more of an article with an intended audience of non-legacy players rather than seasoned legacy players. Seasoned legacy players (ThisIsBullshit mostly, since you expressed interest): is there anything in particular which you'd like to see? I've played the format enough where I'd like to try to make something interesting.

Sorry to steal some of your thunder, zandl, but this site needs more material and I'd like to make some too.

Sideboarding is a great one. zandl, your thread, so your choice if you want to take that one, but if you'd rather not write an article on sideboarding, I'd love to write that one.

I am not familiar with Legacy at all and (honestly) won't be making any articles for the format. As far as I'm concerned, that's all fair game.

Curiously, I've been mulling over the idea of writing an article based on sideboarding for quite awhile now. It's high up on my list of what to write about.

Anything EDH I will read lol that being said having something like "Commander of the Week" would be amazing.

I would be very interested in reading "Sideboarding for Dummies" as well as some Legacy content.

Deck-techs could be cool, especially if they ranged from EDH to Pauper and maybe even Standard. I am not a fan of "Budget Builds" content but find myself always checking em out

I would definitely be interested in reading some articles on Vintage, even if I could never hope to play that format outside of free online services like Untap or Cockatrice. Having read a small amount on the format, I found my initial assumptions to be completely wrong. I would totally appreciate some Vintage content

zandl, don't forget to use my sideboard list. It is an excellent reference point.

And as for homebrews that could be competitive in modern ... I might do an article on that after my cube series.
