Trade Backout

TappedOut forum

This is a Trade related post. If it belongs elsewhere, I apologize.

So recently (two days ago) MADMatt7777 and I both confirmed a trade and locked in inventories. He has since told me that he is "backing out" and will not be sending cards, obviously neither will I. My question is simply What do we / I do in this situation? Because we're locked in already, do we have to renegotiate? I was told that he could "no longer trade the cards", so that may be out of the picture. Is it just a simple matter of an admin deleting the trade?

Thanks

Can't you both just mark as received so it goes away?

not advisable. Don't want people receiving credit for trades that didn't happen. Epoch will resolve when he gets on i'm sure

Or just go ask Epoch directly on his profile since he generally manages trade issues, but that isn't needed anymore since he's tagged to the T/O forum.

There should be a "cancel" button in red. Click that!

I can confirm that this trade is being canceled.

For cancelling confirmed trades, both people need to confirm that they want the trade canceled in a thread or epoch's wall. Either way, it will get handled. Also, what VampireArmy said, no trade count boosting.

there really, really needs to be a Cancel trade button, that if both parties click it, the trade goes away like it never happened. i have a trade stuck as well that didn't go through and no way to cancel, and obviously not gonna click received when it didn't happen.
