Some punctuation doesn’t show up

So when Im writing a comment and I use an apostrophe it shows up but when I submit the comment or post it doesnt show.
Example: Ive Im youre
I have the right punctuation above but it doesnt appear except when editing.
Not really a big deal, I was just curious if its a known problem or just me?

Oh yeah, I should have mentioned that I am on my iPhone.
So its not just me then, thats good to know. Like I said its not a big deal but it is frustrating. I do try to use correct punctuation when I can.
I will test quotation marks below.

Yep - it's the "smart" punctuation that iPhones use which we haven't been able to make compatible yet - but it's a known issue and we're looking into it. Unfortunately our list of small but frustrating things to fix is fairly long and it might be some time before we can get around to it. Thanks for your patience, and we're not judging on the lack of apostrophes (happens to me too!) :P

I have this problem when I post from my phone, but not from my computer. Same issue with quotation marks. Additionally, neither of these punctuation appear if I copy and paste from the comprehensive rules.
I also cannot use the letters ash, thorn, or eth when writing in text. This is a bit frustrating for cards like AEther Charge, where an ash would come in handy (or when I go on random sidebars where I slip into Old/Middle English).
Interestingly, they all work when used in a code block:
