Putting an External Link into deck description

Hi all, I have tried and failed many times to add an external link into my deck descriptions or my profile but each time it comes up blank when I am looking at the page.

This is what I am doing. I click on the button depicting two chain links and then paste in the site URL to the pop-up. Then I enter the link description where it tells me to and click save. I do not know where I am going wrong but when I look at the deck page there is just nothing there where the link should be.

Yes, for whatever reason links are working in this forum post but nowhere else for me. I do not know what the difference is.

If someone could help me out that would be greatly appreciated!
