Multiple Inventories or a Sub-Inventory?

TappedOut forum

Hi,

I am looking for a good way to create a second or sub-inventory for a large number of cards (3000+). I have my own large Inventory, but I would also like to inventory my brother's collection, ideally as a sub-group of my own collection.

For example, if I then search my inventory for Card A, I would see results for Card A in my inventory, and also results for Card A in my sub-inventory (my brother's collection).

I see "Lists" but it sounds like they have a 750 card limit.

Any suggestions on a way to do this with TappedOut, besides some obvious hackery, like marking all of my brother's cards as "Signed" when they are really not, to keep them separate from my own?

i would probably just consider having a separate account, is there some reason not to just start an account for him?

I would like to be able to search both inventories with a single query, and have the results display the split. He is not as involved with his collection, but I want to catalog it for him and be able to borrow cards for deck building easily, without having to search 2 databases.

i have considered arbitrary tags for things like this, or allowing users to define a bucket

Either of those would work perfectly, yes. I do like this site for managing my collection - and one more data column, even boolean, would be helpful (something like 0-9 would be ideal, though, I think).
