Issues with the new comment box

This isn't a bug or anything, but the new font in the comment boxes is really hard on my eyes. Is there any way to return it to what it used to be? (And the thread start text box is)
The spacing and style of it make it very difficult for me to read. I have no idea if anybody else is having issues with it. The new box is useful for the built-in formatting tool (props for that) but it's very difficult for me to read what I'm typing.

Versus.
The 2nd one is the old one. It has a better font and better spacing. It is all around more pleasing to look at and easier to edit.

my comment box isn't dingy white...
only difference i see besides that is a small padding on the left side, which i agree is nice.

It's the font and spacing. The second one is much easier to read.

Femme has it right, the spacing is very hard on my eyes. (The formatting stuff up top is nice though)

screenshot? i don't really know what could be so bad about it but maybe your display is different.
