Is there only playtesting?

I see the site lets you playtest, but it is very one-sided and not really a test, just "Hey put out cards!". If anyone knows how to playtest against another deck (A.I. or human I don't really care)

You can have 2 playtest tabs open with different decks so you can playtest against yourself but that's about it.

There would be legal issues if you could just play Magic on here.

We don't have the resources to develop a playtesting AI, and I don't know that it would really be a goal if we did.

  1. The kind of A.I. needed to play magic effectively would be difficult for a small site (or LLC, technically) like this to achieve.

If it were to be achieved, we would also have legal issues, due to MTGO.

However, MTGO alternatives do exist, namely cockatrice, and untap.in (I think its untap.in, I'ven ever used it.)

The method most common around here is to just open decks in two tabs and play that way.

You could always Skype a friend and play.

But that involves human interaction... @Jp3ngu1nb0y (my god your name is hard to spell)

I do it on a phone every time, too... God I regret this handle.

Untap.in is awesome. Highly recommended.

I use OCTGN. Though haven't touched it in a while. I'm more of a deck-builder than a player.
