Hub suggestions

I was trying to find the right hubs to put on a pauper deck with Shared Discovery and Stonybrook Schoolmaster , when I realised there was no hub for any tapping synergy decks, like Opposition and/or Tradewind Rider decks, or for Convoke decks for that matter.

What would this hub be called? And is it distinct and recognizable enough to be a hub? It's sounding like a variant of Stax. And I don't think Convoke is independent enough to be hubbed, any more than, for example, Extort or Morbid.

yeaGO's the final decider on these, though.

Never mind, it's not really Stax with Stonybrook Schoolmaster and Shared Discovery . But again, is it enough of an archetype to get a hub? I'm willing to be convinced, I'm not just trying to shoot you down. But right now, I'm not sure "tap synergy" is a full archetype or established strategy. Sounds like a fun deck, though.

Maybe you could call it tappers

Can I make a hub suggestion in this thread? If so, I'd recommend creating the following:

Cats. A tribal deck that uses the synergies and abilities of Cat cards like Arahbo, Roar of the World , Kemba, Kha Regent , and Brimaz, King of Oreskos .

Tribal wasnt one already? Maybe its because we have zombies. Tribal might be too broad. Is cedh a hub yet?

How is cedh different than searching for competitive hub format cmdr

Vman: Tribal is an exhisting hub, but I think there should be a hub for each specific tribe of note. Things of interest to the Goblin Tribe will differ from the Elf Tribe, etc., etc.

Can I suggest a landfall or lands-matter hub? Mono-black/voltron feels too generic for an Ob Nixilis, the Fallen deck.

Catching up on this thread:

Cho-Cathal-ic I'm still not sure "tapping" warrants a hub, though like I said, I'm willing to be convinced. Can you please provide a few examples from this site?

ThePerilousRealm Cat tribal has been pushed a lot in the last couple years. I'll add it.

tigermill "Lands: a deck that focuses on the Land type and its interactions with other cards." This would include landfall, 42 lands, and similar lines.

legendofa: That's awesome, thank you!
