[HTML NOOb] How do I make paragraphs and indents in the HTML

Hello, I am a noob to HTML and making flashy designs and texts on this site's HTML is sort of a new concept to me. I am typing my first primer, and obviously I need paragraphs, but every time I indent and enter to make a new paragraph while typing as though I was using google docs, when I save it does not register the paragraphs or indents and it looks all scrunched up and weird. Thank you.

I would HIGHLY recommend having a read of this:

w3schools HTML Tutorial

It takes maybe an hour to get throughthe bulk of it and will help you in what you're wanting to do.

There is a section on paragraphs in the tutorial (page 2) which will get you started.
