Help me build Artifact Stompy in Modern please.

Modern Deck Help forum

I've been testing a modern concept that throws down really badass artifact creatures, but I still lose a lot in testing. I'm not willing to give up the concept just yet so I'd love the tip to make this deck work.

The idea is to throw down a few cost reducers and then drop some bombs.

It'ss got good synergy and the explosive starts you want out of it, but just gets ripped apart easily by controlly decks or just stumbles. Please, do you know anything that might glue these cards together? I've got a decklist down below, including explanation of the mechanics and things I've considered.

Let's hear it :D

Can you like...... link an actual deck? Because it's far easier to read.

I mean I won't to be too rude but if you can't be bothered to format the decklist and the question etc then maybe you shouldn't expect others to bother to help you.

Do you need any help with formatting in particular because I can help you!

You need beefier artifacts than that. Skysovereign, Consul Flagship and Wurmcoil Engine?

@Chiefbell I'll link to the decklist I have there and try to fix all the enters and spaces that tappedout doesn't register.

@Qolorful I'm not so sold on Skysovereign, but I have been considering Wurmcoil too because it's really great I think. What I'm looking for now especially, is suggestions in combination with the right number because I need the composition that makes the suggestions work, but thanks for the input. I might try Skysovereign to see if it's better than I expect it to be.

To tag a person you type square brackets around their name.

[[ChiefBell]] becomes ChiefBell which will tag me.

Likewise with decks, you use square brackets. Take the bit after "mtg-decks/" and put that between squares.

[[artifact-stompy-needs-refining]] becomes Artifact Stompy (needs refining) which makes it a link.

You might have noticed that single breaks in text don't work in the forums - you need to use double spacing. To get around this use <br>

Hi<br>I'm ChiefBell becomes

Hi
I'm ChiefBell
