TappedOut forum

Hi,
how about s sub-forum for new formats? I feel like Kitchen Table is the wrong forum to post decklists for newly created formats.

Like a splinter format forum, maybe this would fall under casual.

I like this idea, maybe we can call it "Minor/Up and Coming Formats"

Although this basically is "The Kitchen Table" section in a nutshell.

I don't understand the need. Posts about the format are fine in KT, posts about decks can go in the top-level Deck Help forum.

Is there really a need for such a niche forum?

Epochalyptik Please remind me again what the Portuguese forum is for.

It's an artifact from when yeaGO was experimenting with a Portuguese language version of TappedOut. It should probably be removed.

I mean format discussion and decklists would be split in two different forums. I just think it would be better organized. Alternatively, how about a Frontier Talk thread?

In kitchen table, a "Frontier Deck Help" (maybe we can add a help the deck above you type thing) and "Frontier Discussion" forum could be made, and then pinned.

There, problem solved.

Just a reminder: format forums are not for deck help.

Honestly, it might be best to rearrange the way forums are being presented. Maybe replace the home page's comment stream view with a forum listing that makes it easy to find forums and understand what each one is for.

But, in general, I think the most practical solution here is to create a Frontier thread (not a new forum) until such time that Frontier is officially adopted or largely played (if such time ever comes).

I don't think either format is large enough to merit a forum as yet. Threads for format discussion are probably good enough.

So.. should I just open a Frontier - General/Discussion Thread or should a Mod/Admin do so?

Feel free to open one. I can sticky it.

I believe Tappedout needs to update the format listings for Frontier as they do not yet include the Aether Revolt Block and its been months since its addition. Just dropping a heads up incase some of you construct a deck and it pegs your legal cards as "illegal".
