Downvotes?

Currently all decks have an upvote option, would it be possible to get a downvote option as well? Or is that something that has already been discussed and passed over?

No. Do you realize how may people would abuse something like that? "Oh, I don't like you as a person. I'll go and downvote all your decks." Or "Oh, I want to troll this person so I'll get a whole bunch of people to downvote their stuff." Too much bad could come out of it.

Plus what's the point of a downvote button? "I don't like X or Y thing you're doing with your deck but I'm too lazy to write a constructive critic comment so I'm just going to downvote." You already have people upvoting and not commenting, so what makes you think you won't have people downvoting (which seems so much more edgy and "cool") and not commenting?

Agreed. Upvotes are at least positive when you use them. Downvotes seem... unnecessary. There's really no need to make enemies here!

Plus, imagine how sad it is to get a downvote. I'd cry every time.

It seems pretty pointless and deconstructive to me. Why would you just say "Your deck is bad, you get a downvote!" over "Oh, you could use some better card choices. Here's some suggestions!"

Plus, subscribed users can see who upvoted their decks. So naturally they'd be able to see who downvoted their decks as well. (If not, that would be bullshit.) And if you could actually see who downvoted your decks... The entire site would turn into nothing but drama and hate.
