The future of Abzan?

So far, with the cards spoiled so far, I can't see anything amazing for Abzan strategies. Although there is Ultimate Price, as well as past friends like Siege Rhino, Tasigur, the Golden Fang, and more, I can't see anything amazing.
If you have any potentially good cards for Abzan, or can see where it can go, please talk. I need faith in Abzan, since I currently run it (check my deck out on my page if you want).

Honestly, I could see Sidisi, Undead Vizer become the next staple. It blocks AND Kills Rhinos, Anafenza's, Banana Hammocks, for 5 Mana. It's a tutor to sacrifice your early one drop dorks too who aren't doing much late game. It's survives Stoke the Flames, Anger of the Gods, AND Roast which is gonna become very relevant.
Siege Rhino gets roasted
Tasigur, the Golden Fang gets roasted
Anafenza, the Foremost gets roasted
Heed the Vizer to the true clan Simulgar.

Roast is here. The ascendancy of the Abzan decks might be contested. Boros aggro is getting the aforementioned Roast as well as the reprinted Dragon Fodder, which may very well see incorporation into the competitive lists. Abzan is still very strong and resilient, so I guess we will see. It's a solid BGx deck for Standard, so if you have anything close to the normal Tier 1 list, and you're a decent player, you should do all right.

Maybe 2x Dragonlord Dromoka stabilizes pretty damn well and then stops all counters or instant speed tricks.

she doesn't stop abilities though. That new mega morph counter guy, Kheru Spellsnatcher, Perilous Vault, any of the Citadels from FRF

the new card... Radiant Purge.... is pretty good. A 2 mana instant speed removal spell that exiles is good. There are a lot of multicolored dragons so far in the new set, not to mention all the multicolored creatures from khans. It also hits Jeskai Ascendancy, and the other if any really become relevant. It's gonna be very relevant and not just a sideboard card.

This is probably a bad place to post this, but I think it'll be nice to see other things compete with Abzan. It's been dominant for two sets now, I think it's time for the meta to be a little more balanced. That said, I definitely think Ultimate Price and Radiant Purge are good, but it totally depends on which build of Abzan you're going for.

I would like to see more diversity in the format. As a dedicated Rock player, I kinda feel insulted that people are playing my deck just because it's now good. I made it good in Theros even when it was actually pretty bad. If there's a more diverse meta, I might actually feel inclined to play my own deck again.

I think, that wizards tries to make good things for non-abzan decks right now. Abzan is really too strong right now.
However, even though other deck types are going to be better, Abzan will always be good! Don't worry!

You guys are aware that Dragons of Tarkir as a set was completed before Khans of Tarkir was released, right? Yes, they can go back and make some small changes to a set before it's released, but changing an entire set so they can give decks other than abzan more weapons is not possible. What you see getting spoiled was going to be there regardless of how well or how poorly abzan did after KTK released. It has absolutely nothing to do with what the meta has looked like over the last 6 months.

Well I do at least. But it's less "please change your set you have been planning for at least two years so that our favorite deck archetypes won't suffer" and more "I hope the cards that are coming out will either bolster my deck or not turn it from a Tier 1 to a tier 4 deck"
Like I said: Zombie Sidisi, Raident purge, and Ultimate price coming out I'm not too worried.

i disagree while the double white is quite tough to do in a three color Abzan deck in a two color one it would not be hard to do. i run a green white abzan that has proven itself as competitive, Albeit a bit unorthodox.d=

I don't think that's entirely true. The set is NEAR completion before Release, but WotC even stated the need to print something like Roast because of the Rhinos prevalence in formats.
