My rooommate and I want to get into magic. We got some cards and made some sub-par decks. haha how ever the rules we get on paper or online arent exactly clear.does anyone have a link to a video how to for the standard type play?

Yeah I 2nd Duels of the Planeswalkers. It really helped me when I got back into the game. You also get to play with a lot of cool cards for $10.

I learned via the 2013 duels of the planeswalkers. Within a day, I had all the basic rules in place.

Duels of the Planeswalkers 2014(not 2015) on Steam is a good tutorial. If you don't wanna buy it, I believe there's a demo that lets you do a tutorial of the game then you have to purchase the full game to continue.
