Is Burn a possibility now?

Basically title - with EMN, I think that burn is a viable archetype. Incendiary Flow and Collective Defiance really push this archetype in the realm of possible, in addition to Bedlam Reveler.

Prior to EMN, we had access to Avacyn's Judgment, Exquisite Firecraft and of course the combo of Fiery Temper/Lightning Axe. Touch of the Void is also a consideration, although fringe, as is

I have brainstormed a bit about it, but I think that monored burn is not good enough. RB Burn though gains access to more madness cards and can be burn-y enough - [[alms of the vein, Heir of Falkenrath  Flip, even Bloodhall Priest and Collective Brutality are all pseudo burn spells that work great with a little bit of madness.

You're forgetting Roast, Tears of Valakut, Burn from Within, Devour in Flames, Thunderbreak Regent, and Kolaghan's Command.

It's viable, but the brew will need to be played around with a LOT.

Boza,
IDK, but maybe. Especially early in the season. Here's one take on it, from this article over at MTGgoldfish:

I actually do not think those are that great for specifically burn. ONly burn from within can target players and Blaze has never really been any good in standard. Regent is fine, but has no payoff with madness and you are playing 8 of the 3 CMC cards with madness for 1 that deal 3. Command is versatile, but the modes but just a Shock in a burn deck. It is just OK, rather than spectacular.

The one I really forgot is Thermo-Alchemist. That guy is exactly what a burn deck wants.

I've used all of those spells successfully in burn decks.

Depends on how you play, I guess.

Jhessian Thief with Rogue's Passage works for card draw in Izzet Burn.

One card in particular that hoses burn at the moment and it's being heavily played...Dromoka's Command. On top of that, if Burn even becomes a thing, Sigarda, Heron's Grace will just be practically game over.

I don't see Dromoka's Command as a huge problem for burn. No more than Counterspells.

You just need to have more burn spells than they have ways to stop them.

Also, you just burn Sigarda to death and that stops the Hexproof nonsense.

Iffy,
Sure, for Game 1. But Orbs of Warding everywhere makes Games 2 and 3 far from a sure thing.

Kolaghans command totally counters orbs of warding not only that its a burn and discard outlet which means they can afford to run it in the main board, and yeah it rotates but so does orbs which means that unless kaladesh prints some sort of player hexproof card sigarda will be the only one and burn has no problem getting rid of her
