Hello tappedout! I am having a hard time playing against an Athreos, God of Passage deck that my friend built and can't figure out the best way to get around it. He isn't on tapped out so I can't link a deck list, but he has a ton of cheap deathtouch creatures like Pharika's Chosen , Baleful Eidolon and Agent of the Fates . Master of the Feast and Athreos, God of Passage are his finishers. he also has a ton of removal. Problem is that I cant swing though his deathtouch with my monsters and if I use removal, i get burnt to death by athreos. Here's the jund deck I play: http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/jund-enforcer/

Please help out a fellow mage!

Well you can always use Fade into Antiquity or Lash of the Whip if Athreos' devotion is turned on.

would they be better that Silence the Believers ? the double black from silence may be harder for me to cast.

Opponent's creature dies and is moved to the graveyard. Athreos, God of Passage ability triggers. You respond by eating the creature with your Scavenging Ooze , gaining a life and adding a +1/+1 counter to it. Athreos's trigger resolves and you choose to return the creature that no longer exists to it's owners hand. Proceed to laugh and win.

You can also sideboard Anger of the Gods or Unravel the Aether .

I'm with Rasta on this. Scooze is by far your best option.
