What strategy is best for standard?

I think Zombie token decks are good (e.gAnointed Procession) but quite pricey to make.

TMBRLZ It's very good, but out of lots of people's budget.

I have had nearly unbeatable luck with my New Perspectives deck so far on MTGO. Haven't played a league yet (have no tickets and don't feel like spending 12$ really) but I've lost I think 2 matches out of 15-20. It was about $37 total on paper and maybe 15 online. It is a total pain in the @$$ to play online though with a million triggers that you can't just ignore.

One thing I realized while playing it is that you can cycle a card, pay for your Faith of the Devoted trigger and then cycle more cards without ever actually drawing anything. This has come into play when being nearly out of cards.

I think mono-black zombies is the best deck in standard right now, but that could change rather quickly. G/B delirium is pretty competitive but missing a few pieces and the same goes for constrictor. Marvelless Marvel is decent but I don't see it being super competitive. Certainly the most interesting decks are turbo-fog and Abzan tokens but even then they are not super competitive. Come HOU, it will be interesting to see how Solemnity effects energy decks and if Hapatra snakes can become competitive but with all the bans standard has room to experiment right now.

If you're looking for a budget deck then check out Opponent Rage Producer made by me. The idea of the deck is get the best cards in an opponents deck into their graveyards, then fetching them from their graveyard onto your battlefield. Opponent boasting about a Rhonas in their deck? Boom, turn three lost legacy, bye bye Rhonas.
