2-Headed Giant Deck Ideas

This week my local card shop is doing a standard 2HG. Are there any suggestions on which decks we should play. In Theros we took it down with Mono-Red devotion and Mono-Black with Fanatic of Mogis and Gray Merchant of Asphodel. Although last time when Khans of tharkir came out we were dominated. Thank you for all the ideas and help given. My partner and I will be testing out decks all week since these 2HGs always have atleast 25 or 30 teams.

Builder here... So I have decided to go with Mono-Black Devotion, are there any ideas on what deck would go great with the Mono-Black? Abzan does seem good we are just looking for additional ideas to test and find the best combination! Thanks!

I'd say maybe Abzan aggro and Mono Black devotion. Gary is pretty fuckin crazy in 2HG, and Abzan aggro is a deck that can deal damage fast but also go all midrangey and go into the late game.
