Raise Dead Standard Legal

I was reading that the welcome deck cards are standard legal as long as Amonkhet is considered standard.
However, I can't see anywhere that Raise Dead is standard legal.
Can anyone let me know if it is Standard legal or not.

Hi Geo67,
to answer your question, the Welcome Deck cards don't appear in booster packs, but are Standard legal as long as Shadows over Innistrad is Standard legal. However, I just realized that Raise Dead's last printing was from Conspiracy: Take the Crown, and has not been printed in the most recent Welcome Deck. So unfortunately, Raise Dead is not standard legal.

Geo67, I just realized from Ryjo that Raise Dead was printed in Welcome Deck 2017 and is standard legal until the Amonkhet block is rotated out of standard. My apologies.

TappedOut doesn't have card sets for the welcome decks in the system, so it doesn't show up as being printed in those sets. It might be a good idea to get them added to the system.

You can add cards to the system, and fix them, yourself.
I'll go and fix Raise Dead.

everything I read says yes, including http://whatsinstandard.com/#. So I guess Raise dead is too.

OK so "Welcome Deck" wasn't a category in the TappdOut card database.
It was added by the site Admin, and I have now submitted Raise Dead, so you should soon be able to choose the Welcome Deck version of that card, and your deck will show as Standard legal.
I might have gotten some of the concepts slightly wrong, but that is the end result.

Thanks so much for all your answers. I was looking for a cheap spell for reanimator deck, and this may work.

I have added the rest. Please let me know if they are still showing up as illegal for standard (but note the cache may take time to catch up).

Raise Dead is legal in Standard for as long as Amonkhet block is in Standard.
