I have been working on a new type of Aetherworks Marvel deck. Instead of playing huge Eldrazi or going all-in on the combo gameplan, the deck is filled with all of the best energy creatures. This way, Aetherworks Marvel itself is not a must-find and you don't easily fold to hate. You end up with a bunch of creatures that are good on their own and synergize well, and an artifact that can cast them for free.

What do you think? Could this be competitive in standard?
