I'd really apppreciate insight and suggestions on my planned Cat Tribal Deck.
Creatures
- 3x Adorned Pouncer
- 4x Metallic Mimic
- 2x Longtusk Cub
- 4x Pride Sovereign
- 3x Rishkar, Peema Renegade
- 4x Prowling Serpopard
- 4x Regal Caracal
Instants
Enchantments/Artifacts
The general idea is to capitalize on numerous ways to place counters on creatures, the use Rishkar's conferred ability to play out Regal Caracal and Paradox Engine ahead of curve. I would like to use Paradox engine, plus extra mana from Rishkar (though it isn't strictly necessary), to get multiple activations of Pride Sovereign's exert ability in one turn; this would simultaneously give me a HUGE fatty and flood the board with 1/1 or, better case, 2/2 tokens.
Throne of the God Pharoh is there to give me additional reach, and I could use Rishkar to tap down any creature I don't want to risk attacking with, and so still get max value from Throne. Not really sure if I should run it or not, but I can see myself going wide enough to put it to good use.
I haven't had a chance to play-test this at all, since several of these cards obviously haven't been released. However, I really want to get a head-start on the build. (I also want to figure out if this is even viable before I invest in the Paradox Engines). Any and all feedback would be greatly appreciated, and well as any insight you can provide into good sideboard options against the current meta.

Yeah, I considered that. Maybe replace the 2X Throne of the God Pharoh with 3x Anointed Procession and then cut one other card?

Ahn-Crop Champion may also help as a stand in for Paradox Engine I know your going for cat tribal but throne doesn't seem like a good card in a deck Unless you can go wide fast and have a lot of bodies that aren't being blocked and killed quickly

Yeah, I think I'll definitely make the Throne/Anointed Procession swap. I think to do otherwise would just be greedy and janky. Ahn-crop Champion is a good idea- I'll definitely play test with both. If I'm not ever able to get more than one untap off Paradox engine, then Ahn-Crop Champion is probably better for keeping up board presence.

Samut, Voice of Dissent is probably the best way to untap creatures in standard. A 1-2 of won't strain mana with the red splash. But I'd wait and see what HOU brings before worrying too much over a list! :)

Please put this into a deck.
I've started to get really fatigued by people writing lists of cards, when it's just as easy to build a deck.
I can't playtest a list of cards.

Oh, ok. I didn't know I could build with not-yet-released cards. I'll throw something together.

They all get slowly added to the card database.
Something to try if a card is not showing up is to put (HOU) after it. Sometimes that works.

use a merfolk to have unblockable creatures when a +1+1 counters on your control.

Argy yes after putting all tokens into battlefield. i used a land attached with new horizon which can be a two mana of choice to add to mana pool. by a creature to untap it like an arbor elf creature or some. then return arbor elf cast it using a haste from samut, the dissent paradox will untap drover of mighty and pride sovereign. if I use Banishing ... to nettle sentinel. i think i excute a combo

Argy its ok its a very long combo anyway to be execute and for competition wise is an overkill for me over my opponent just to execute this combo.
