And i've been trying to come up with ways to improve it. There's lots of options normally, but only one major hitch. I'm keeping this deck exclusively devoid (except Hedron Archive).

The land grabs are currently inconsistent so i can never guarantee one of my 2-drops hits the field on turn 2. Once i do begin to ramp, though, the problem i run into is the diversity of counterspells that slap my eldrazi spells down to the graveyard. I only have the 3 Ulamog's Nullifiers and i really don't know what to take out to make room for more counters in the form of Spell Shrivel (literally the only other devoid counter right now). Should i try to focus on the limited control/counter options presented in BFZ with devoid or should i keep heavy aggro pushing down?

Suggestions? Thoughts?Discuss.

If you want to stick to Devoi/Artifact only I would highly suggest going B/R aggro, much more effective is it can actually do things, vs a control deck that is running sub par control tools because of the restrictions you put on yourself.

Just my 2c

The_Riddlebox my only issue with switching to that format is that i would resign myself to having no defense against the bigger or heavier hitting spells. I'd also lose out on any flying defense (i don't have a ton as is, but it's there). I can certainly try it out online, but i think i'd rather test it heavily before i dismantle what i've put together.

Thanks for the suggestion. :)

The R/B aggro version is more explosive and you can pull off turn 5 wins pretty easily. The "bigger creatures" and dfliers should not be an issue with black has a plathera of removal.

That's why I suggested it :D

The biggest problem I see is that there doesn't seem to be enough ingest in early game, you need something to trigger Ulamog's Nullifier by turn 4 because every turn after that they become less and less useful. I suggest Benthic Infiltrator, Culling Drone, Sludge Crawler or Salvage Drone for getting 2 cards in exile by turn 4 or 5.

The_Riddlebox i suppose that does make sense... Touche'. I'll continue to experiment. Missed out on FNM last night but i'll try next week. DamainXI i can see what you mean by that potentially being an issue. Benthic is a really good option as it's unblockable. I found sludge crawler really underwhelming especially when drawn anytime after turn 4 or so, but never thought about culling or Salvage drones... I'll try those out in this format too.
