DesolatorMagic's latest claim as the best deck in current standard. he says it "steamrolls everything it goes against." what are everyone's thought on it? I'm skeptical because he makes that claim with every deck he builds.

What PhotogenicParasympathetic said. with 3x Wandering Fumarole as it's only staying power, it seems really easy to grind your way to victory against it.

Don't listen to DesolatorMagic. He said Triskaidekaphobia and Tree of Perdition would be the next huge thing (go watch the video). Spirits will be good, sure, but not totally dominating.

yeah i dont listen to him about much of anything. he has a really bad attitude in general, and hates almost every decision WOTC makes, says almost every card is overpowered (such as Cryptolith Rite recently), etc, yet still keeps playing. and every deck he makes just "beats every deck in the format" and is unstoppable. i'm starting to think maybe its just the players that come to his store (he owns a Magic shop).

Seems like it loses after Languish and Flaying Tendrils get sided in.
