Time Walk/Warp type card with Delve?!

Could we possibly see something like this? I LOVE Delve and think a card like Time Warp could cost 9 colorless 1 blue with Delve so it could be cast with 1 mana but would still keep it in check. Yes, no, maybe? Maybe 8 colorless 2 blue with Delve. That would keep it in check better.

That's still feasible a cost for eternal formats, with all the wastelanding and fetching going around, it would often turn into a 1/2 mana Time Walk which would just push blue over the top of insanity... If they do do it (which I'm not saying they won't) it would look something more like in order to keep it in check...

That being said, I would snatch that up in a SECOND for my commander deck...

I think with how crazy Treasure Cruise and Dig Through Time are showing to be introducing a Time Warp effect w/ delve would be a crazy proposition and they'd have to make it at least w/ probably to offset the delve. It would get busted in modern and legacy really fast if not. Even like that, I could see it getting the ban hammer quick

What would be hilarious would be if it was something like what you guys said and random player takes an extra turn

Delve

Choose a player at random. That player takes an extra turn after this one. Each player not chosen in this way draws a card.

Seems balanced.

I still liked the faked delve counter that they spoofed.

The card that they faked up was
8.
~is blue.
Delve.
Counter target spell

If they balanced that a bit more we could have a card that is to force if will what Pain Seer is to Dark Confidant.

Maybe 10 cost instead, a restriction, or some other way to balance.

I agree it would blow up in the eternal formats but it'd still be fun for the time it's in standard and for casual play. It's so annoying hearing people complain about Dig and especially Treasure Cruise being too powerful, they just don't like change. Maybe Birthing Pod should be banned too then eh? I like Delve and pretty much all the new card's with Delve, even Become Immense. Turn 5 or 6 use Sarkhans +1, hit it with Become Immense for 1 mana and have a 10/10 indestructible flyer. I want more cards with Delve!

But honestly, that could be a legit counter in Standard, Modern, or Legacy if it were 10-12 instead of 8. It would be a budget replacement for Force.

Except for the fact that it can't counter turn 1 combos like Goblin Charbelcher... Apart from that, YES!

rorofat Yeah, that's why I called it the pain seer compared to force being the bob.

I could honestly see them doing something like that though.
